Catch up! {Northern Lights Photography}

OK, things are a brewing.... (note the Halloween pun). Some news. Northern Lights Photography is relocating! Yes, moving... south. Not super far south, so the name will remain the same. But I am relocating to the Calgary area. More info to follow once I have it. Mean while, I will post some of the sessions that I have been so bad at posting. Enjoy!!!

I have been a bit MIA. This summer has been so crazy busy and with kids home from school, vacations and work, it seems like it has just flown by. I keep saying this, and soon I think I should stop, but for now, I really do hope that life calms down a bit so that I can catch up!

Anyway, I just have to say the earlier this summer I had a chance to meet this sweet little babies! It really just is amazing to think of all of these little ones coming at one time to one family! They were so sweet and they cute little family became a large'ish' family. Congratulations on your beautiful babies! Hope you are able to get some sleep and sanity! But from the looks of things you were handling the addition of three just fine! Which also amazed me! Here are just a couple to have a quick preview.

I am really excited that I will have a gallery up in a local dental office. The Dentist is Derek MacDonald DDS and he is opening up his office on June 17. He will be having an open house on the evening of the 17th, come check it out. It is a gorgeous office! And I am not just saying that because my work will be hanging in the office.hehe. Year In Review.... about time!

I have been meaning to post this, so I finally got around to doing it. If I have missed your session, I apologize as I have removed several from the computer already, I tried to get as many as I could. I didn't include any of the school pictures, just sessions. It was a great year with some really great people!

Just a note, this is my first attempt at doing a video on here, bit blurry, but you still get the idea.

Reflection | Sherwood Park Photographer

I must say I have been taking a bit of a break from updating the blog. As anyone can easily see from my posts, I really am a person of few words. I keep things to the point and let the pictures do the talking. Well, seeing as I have no pictures in this post, I guess I will actually have to say something.

SO.... as January rolls around, I find myself reflecting on the previous year and think about the new year and what I want to change and focus on, new directions, new things to try. So even though I am still working on this and what specials I will hold during the upcoming year, I do have some fun and interesting things I want to try. So as I work out the details I will post them and let you know. Believe it or not, I have even thought about trying my hand a weddings. So if you know anyone that maybe looking for a photographer, let me know. I was thinking of adding a few mini session dates as well, maybe with some themes, like Mother's day.

I will keep you updated as needed. Thanks to all the awesome people I have gotten to know because of my job. I do love it!

Santa came early and I must say he is looking better than ever! Such a sweet little guy and he actually slept for me. He was only 5 days old and I think if he had of been older he wouldn't have slept for me. Five days is the perfect time for newborns! I love newborns, have I said that before? Anyway, just sharing one for now, I may add more later when I have more time to proof them.
